AAC vs ACSR - what to choose?
AAC is lighter, more corrosion-resistant and offers better conductivity for the same cross-section. It is the right choice for short-span urban distribution, coastal regions and as phase conductor inside Aerial Bunched Cables. For long-span transmission lines requiring high tensile strength, ACSR remains the standard.
Grades we supply
AAC Rabbit, AAC Dog and a range of bare aluminium conductors manufactured as per BIS standards. Used inside our LT AB Cables as well as supplied bare for direct distribution use.
Applications
LT distribution feeders, urban overhead lines, coastal area distribution, AB cable phase conductors, service drops, internal bus wiring in substations.
